Overqualified and underemployed: 28-year-old Megan is in the middle of a quarter-life crisis. Long of age, but still with no prospects of a career, no real emotional attachment and no particular motivation to think about her future, Megan has no problem lagging a few steps behind - while her friends tick off one milestone after another in her development and celebrate her newfound adult status. When her childhood sweetheart Anthony proposes to her, Megan panics and takes an unexpected opportunity to disappear for a week: She hides out at her new 16-year-old friend Annika's house, where she also bumps into her cynical, yet rather handsome single dad Craig.
